The Centennial Commission was established by Mayor Dennis Phillips in September 2014. Where’s the party?
There was a party going on in 1948, and a rig down the middle of Broad Street was the best place to advertise. This photo was taken for the Farmer’s Family Party held on March 25, 1948 at the Civic Auditorium. The public was invited to meet the Farm Equipment Company staff.
